Niklas Engbom

Welcome to the best campus in the world! Originally from Stockholm, Sweden, I came to the U.S. and Princeton for my PhD (in economics) four years ago. I spent this summer as a macro economic researcher at Goldman Sachs (in New York) and last summer at the IMF in DC, so if you’re interested in economics/public policy please feel free to reach out to me. Prior to coming here, I lived in Stockholm, Ontario, Moscow and London, and I’d be happy to share my experiences from living abroad (I also love to travel with 54 countries visited this far). I also served in the Swedish military as an intelligence officer. In my spare time I like to hike, downhill ski, cross-country ski, run, camp, kayak, and basically everything else that involves a good challenge and being outdoors. Please don't hesitate to approach me with questions, concerns, hellos, whatever, in the dining hall, in Campbell, or wherever you see me. And please join the Trivia nights I co-organize with another Rocky RGS at 9:30pm on Wednesdays! I can't wait to get to know you all!
