Hey Zeesters! 🌟 I'm super excited to introduce myself as your Peer Academic Advisor! I'm an upcoming Junior in the Molecular Biology (MOL) department here at Princeton. As both a transfer and pre-med student, I've had quite the journey—originally from Venezuela, I lived near the coast in a quaint house before moving to the United States in 2019, where my educational path led me through North Bergen High School and Bergen Community College, both in New Jersey.
Princeton is like the Disneyland of academia and extracurricular activities! That said, I encourage you to dive into the endless possibilities here; you might just surprise yourself. During my free time, I enjoy taking group classes and participating in activities at Dillon Gym. Volunteering with Alzheimer's Buddies has also been a profound part of my life, deepening my appreciation for the resilience of the elderly battling Alzheimer's disease. Moreover, spending time at church with friends is a cherished part of my week.
As your PAA, I'm thrilled to guide and support you, the new generation of Princeton students. It's gratifying to help you navigate this exciting chapter of your lives, balancing social life, academics, and mental health. Princeton University is delighted to welcome such extraordinary people like you. I'm here to ensure you thrive this year. Let’s make it spectacular together! ✨🤍

Favorite memory from my first year at Princeton: One of my favorite memories from my first year at Princeton was the Community Action trip during the first week. We traveled to Newark and NYC, visiting museums where I had the chance to truly appreciate and observe incredible art from underrepresented communities. It was an eye-opening experience!
Princeton class that shaped the way I think and why: Organic Chemistry (CHM 303) and Developmental and Cell Biology (MOL 214) have reshaped my approach to studying. These courses taught me to move beyond memorizing dense content and instead focus on optimizing my time to understand concepts deeply, allowing me to connect different concepts throughout the semester.
