Bio/Description

Hi everyone! I am a PhD student in the History of Science focusing on early modern magic and the occult sciences. My research looks at magical manuscripts and reconsiders their epistemological value by viewing them as repertoires of experimental practices. I grew up in southern California before moving to Kentucky when I was 13. I received my BA from the University of Kentucky in History with minors in Chemistry and Italian. After Kentucky I moved to Chicago for the Masters of Arts Program in the Social Sciences at UChicago and then worked as an administrator in Art History. I am a first-generation college student and am currently a President's Fellow here at Princeton. Outside of the library, I can likely be found sitting outside with a fantasy book, baking at home, hanging out with friends, or swimming. I'm excited to meet you all and help build a welcoming (and fun) community!
