Hi All! I'm from Tupelo, MS, which is coincidentally the birthplace of Elvis Presley, Diplo, and Rae Sremmurd. I went to Harvard for undergrad where I studied Human Evolutionary Biology and Music and worked in an Evolutionary Psychology lab. After college, I did a fellowship in global health at the University of Washington in Seattle where I simultaneously did an MPH. At Princeton, I'm a PhD student in sociology and demography focusing on stratification and culture.
In my free time, I like to run, climb, swim, and generally do anything outside. I am an avid naturalist and will talk your ear off about insects and plants, and I also sing (both in my shower and with the Chapel Choir on campus). I'm also a huge reader and am always down to talk about contemporary lit: gothic fiction, experimental fiction, autofiction, etc. Hit me up for a coffee, a stroll around campus, or a morning run! Also, feel free to reach out to me about all things pre-med/pre-health, anything sociology or grad school related, and queer culture on campus!
