Hey everyone! I am Mohamed, one of the few Moroccans here on campus. Before coming to Princeton for graduate school, I grew up in Morocco then moved to France to do my undergraduate studies at Ecole Polytechnique. I am now a PhD student in mechanical and aerospace engineering, but I am neither a mechanical or aerospace engineer. I have a background in mathematics and physics, and my research broadly revolves around the clean energy transition & decarbonization, modeling energy-systems & emerging clean technologies, and policy. If you’re curious about any of these topics, climate change mitigation broadly, the politics of the transition, justice considerations and the challenges ahead, I would be more than happy to talk. Beyond research, I am a big fan of the outdoors, traveling to new places and exploring new cafes, cooking & baking and watching my favorite tv shows. I am very excited to meet you all!
