Hello everyone! I am a third-year PhD student in Neuroscience from India. My research focuses on understanding how sensory cues (such as touch) are processed by the brain. I received my B.S-M.S. in Physics from University of Hyderabad and an M. Eng. in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University. Coming from a first-generation low-income background, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring. Apart from being an RGS with Rocky, I work as a graduate fellow with Scholars Institute Fellows Program and as a Math instructor with Prison Teaching Initiative. When not in the lab, I enjoy running, camping, hiking, trying new food, and exploring New York city. I am excited and I am looking forward to meeting you all!
