Bio/Description

Aloha! My name is Travis, and I was born and raised on Hawaiʻi Island! I’m currently a senior studying anthropology and archaeology and always try to incorporate Indigenous studies. Alongside being an RCA, I’m a research fellow for Nuclear Princeton, a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, and am involved with Natives at Princeton. In addition to boba and baking (chocolate chip cookies are the best!), I love to dig (archaeologically) and would highly recommend it if you’ve ever wanted to see and travel to some really cool places—ask me about the time I destroyed 2,000-year-old Roman pottery!! I’d be more than happy to chat about digging or anything else with anyone, and I can’t wait to meet you all on campus :)
